Job Title
Commercial Enablement Manager
We’re looking for a Commercial Enablement Manager to play a pivotal role at the heart of our UK commercial organisation. Sitting within the Commercial team, this role is responsible for turning commercial strategy into effective, joined‑up execution across Sales, Product, Platform, Compliance, Marketing and Operations.
You’ll act as a key bridge between the UK business and matrixed central teams, with particular ownership of commercial readiness for product, platform and compliance‑driven change. Alongside this, you’ll support cross‑functional commercial initiatives and lead the design and delivery of targeted sales enablement and learning programmes that drive consistency, confidence and performance.
What you’ll be doing
Commercial change & compliance readiness
Act as the commercial lead for product, platform and scheme‑driven compliance changes, ensuring impacts across pricing, contracts, sales processes and operations are clearly understood.
Partner closely with Product, Platform, Compliance, Finance and Legal teams to ensure the UK commercial organisation is fully prepared ahead of change implementation.
Own and deliver commercial readiness plans, including stakeholder alignment, communications, training and execution milestones.
Identify, model and track all incremental costs arising from change, ensuring these are approved and fully recovered through appropriate commercial mechanisms.
Monitor cost recovery to ensure it is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
Delivery of commercial & cross‑functional initiatives
Act as a project manager and central coordinator for key commercial initiatives, supporting end‑to‑end delivery from concept through to execution.
Translate UK commercial priorities into clear, actionable plans with defined owners, milestones, dependencies and outcomes.
Coordinate activity across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance and central teams to ensure initiatives land efficiently and in line with UK P&L objectives.
Serve as a single point of coordination for commercial execution within a matrixed environment.
Commercial & sales enablement / learning & development
Design, coordinate and support the delivery of targeted sales training and enablement programmes aligned to commercial priorities.
Develop training materials and learning sessions covering areas such as pricing and commercial structures, compliance‑driven changes, competitive intelligence, sales incentives, and process or proposition changes.
Partner with Sales leadership to ensure enablement activity drives sales effectiveness, consistency and confidence.
Support onboarding and ongoing development to keep the sales organisation informed, compliant and commercially sharp.
Stakeholder management & commercial advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial leadership, providing clear insight into execution risks, dependencies and readiness.
Build strong working relationships across Product, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Operations and central teams to influence outcomes without direct authority.
Give senior stakeholders clear visibility of progress, risks and outcomes across key initiatives.
What success looks like
Product and compliance‑driven changes are delivered on time with minimal disruption and full commercial readiness.
All incremental costs linked to change are identified early and fully recovered.
Sales teams clearly understand changes, pricing and propositions and feel well supported through training and enablement.
Cross‑functional initiatives land cleanly, with clear ownership and accountability.
UK commercial priorities are accurately reflected in execution across the wider organisation.
What we’re looking for
Experience in a high‑growth fintech, payments or similar environment.
Strong understanding of payment rails, scheme rules, processor economics, interchange and scheme fee dynamics.
Experience coordinating or delivering compliance or platform‑driven change in a commercial context.
Familiarity with commercial contracts, pricing structures and risk allocation.
Experience working closely with Sales teams, including sales enablement or sales operations exposure.
Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and confidence influencing across a matrixed organisation.
