What this job involves - As a senior JLL Americas HSSE team member, this individual will be accountable for providing HSSE expertise for JLL-Technical Services working in Data Centers, Critical Environments and other projects. This role reports directly to the Data Center Division HSSE Lead and will have accountability for the implementation support of the Regional and Divisional WD HSSE program across all JLL-Technical Services operations. As a member of the HSSE team, the JLL-Skae HSSE Director will be responsible for deploying and supporting the JLL health, safety, and environmental risk management strategy. The role will be dedicated to managing HSSE matters for JLL-Technical Services project and divisional teams.
What is the day to day?
Enable the JLL-Technical Services business to comply with JLL, cultural, client, and statutory requirements in its operations: demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring that the JLL HSSE Management System and Standards are applied across areas of responsibility
Facilitate the delivery and management of HSSE by supporting JLL-Technical Services staff to achieve compliance and performance reporting against all JLL & client-set HSSE metrics and KRI’s, including the maintenance of the AMR JLL-Technical Services HSSE playbook and associated programmatic tools
Support new JLL-Technical Services business pursuits, the transition of new JLL-Skae accounts, and the expansion of existing JLL-Technical Services accounts
Provide on-site support for larger projects and/or complex projects that require more hands on HSSE support or intervention
Manage any future JLL-Technical Services HSSE team members operating within the region, both direct reporting and matrix reporting relationships
Provide JLL-Technical Services teams HSSE guidance/support for technical services, construction and project as well as guidance and advice on health and safety risk management at all levels
Support work teams, to secure operational HSSE compliance, including providing support for HSSE audits and inspections as required
Secure the development of a positive, proactive HSSE culture at all levels throughout the region
Desired experience and technical skills -
Required
10 + years of proven history of implementation of environmental, health and safety systems and processes
Relevant HSSE experience in a similar environment (e.g. Construction, Data Centers, Critical Environments, HSSE enforcement or consultancy)
Knowledgeable in electrical safety, NFPA 70E and 70B
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with all people at all organizational levels, internally and externally
Computer literate with knowledge of commonly used software programs, including Microsoft Office applications

Estimated compensation for this position:
222,000.00 – 270,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
