We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, detail driven Supply Chain Manager in our Alpharetta Facility.
Our facility in Alpharetta specializes in comprehensive power system design, including the design, assembly and integration of generator paralleling controls, switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switches, and customized solutions for power generation applications.
What will you do:
The role will manage material planning, purchasing, inventory controls, compliance, daily day to day Logistics management and warehouse ownership. Today the team is approx. 15+ people, including our logistics operators. You will work as part of the facility leadership team and as part of a global SC team.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining communications with operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Creating integrated processes to streamline supply chains.
Interacting with sales, engineering, and facilities management on production schedules and expected deliverables.
Managing and directing the logistics specialists, including training, hiring, and coaching.
Establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to guide supply chain planning and forecasting; monitoring planned vs. actual performance and presents results to senior management.
Managing relationships with internal customers, coordinating and integrating planning processes.
Developing and continuously improving the accuracy of logistical needs, including warehouse capacity, equipment needs and resource needs.
Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring logistical processes and dependencies.
What you will have:
The person most suited for this role will be an experienced SC professional. They will be able to manage and own the end-to-end supply chain processes from planning right through to final product shipping. The person will be high energy, will bring new ideas and detailed core knowledge of efficient supply chains.

Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
Level Working Knowledge:
Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.
Tracks inventory information
Produces inventory management reports for senior staff
Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.
Manages the inventory count program, along with RSSM and scrap transactional processing.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Level Working Knowledge:
Uses electronic systems or tools to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions with suppliers.
Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates non-routine issues up chain of command.
Researches alternative vendors or suppliers; participates in supplier selection.
Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Level Working Knowledge:
Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions.
Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products or components.
Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
Works with a specific part of supply chain management process.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
