In this role, you will:- Manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity
- Guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
- Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
- Oversee systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate
- Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
- Partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
- Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Train other Scrum Masters and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years experience working in the financial industry
- 5+ Years proficiency in building and maintaining Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira (ex. JQL, filters, subscriptions, Jira Automation, Rich Dashboards, Jira Plans), to support transparency and planning
Desired Qualifications:- Scrum Master certification (scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, SAFe, PMI-ACP or SSGI)
- Agile certifications to support system thinking (ex. Advanced Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach, Agile Leadership)
- Agile experience outside of financial industry, to support healthy debate of best practices
- Experience coaching Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches, supporting teams as they mature toward predictable, self-sustaining delivery practices
- Strong capabilities in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication, including surfacing impediments, managing delivery risks, and maintaining transparency across teams and leadership
- Strong skills in situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment, identifying areas for continual improvement, influencing, and increasing transparency
- Demonstrated ability to optimize team flow and delivery performance using metrics, empirical data, and continuous improvement practices
- Experience mentoring and coaching Agile practitioners, contributing to increased Agile maturity across the organization
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Full knowledge of Wells Fargo Product Operating Model (POM) including roles at each levels, expected operations and integrations between tools (Registry, Jira, Confluence) and processes (Investment Planning, Time Tracking, Enterprise Change Management, SDLC)
