Facilities Engineer is required to Optimal Building and Service Management Operation and Control. Includes but not limited to Quality and Safety Compliance, Cost Control and People Leadership Development.
You will be responsible for:
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for supervising maintenance facility technicians and their training needs
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all maintenance for facilities.
Assure outside contractors for building systems, i.e. HVAC, Plumbing, etc. are available and are aware of EES requirements.
Responsible for following and enforcing J&J and Mexican Government safety policies, rules and regulations.
Manage facilities-maintenance budget and maintains inventory of spare parts cleaning supplies and contract services.
Responsible for maintaining certain activities, such as pest control, environment control, housekeeping, HVAC continuous operation, for the manufacturing of medical devices.
Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area.
Compliance with safety policies and procedures
Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS)
Supports supplier evaluations for major services/products as needed
Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third-party vendor if applicable.
Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/ or medical device industry preferred.
Previous experience in supervision preferred. May be required based on position level within job family.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering Degree with proven facilities-maintenance expertise.
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
GMP / ISO knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and Clean room preferred.
