Senior Product Owner, Product Development
What does a successful Senior Product Owner, Product Development do at Fiserv?
As a successful Senior Product Owner, Product Development, you will manage our suite of customer service, disputes and collections solutions for credit and debit card issuers. This position is pivotal in driving the product vision, strategy and execution to deliver an exceptional user experience for our clients and their customers.
What you will do:
- Participate in the definition and communication of product vision and user experience for supported solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful implementation of product features.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and drive sprint planning.
- Write comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and user stories to guide product development.
- Facilitate story refinement sessions to ensure clarity and detail in user stories and epics for the development team.
- Engage closely with clients to gather feedback and understand their needs, translating those insights into actionable product requirements.
- Ensure that the product meets accessibility standards and provides an inclusive experience for all users.
- Conduct usability testing and leverage analytics tools to monito product performance, identify areas for improvement and drive data-informed decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to enhance the product strategy.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to possess a solid understanding of distributed technologies, including API's and database systems enabling informed product decisions and effective product integration.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in developing digital applications, specifically within credit/debit issuing or core banking products.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Figma and a solid grasp of design principles.
- Strong understanding of how to leverage LLMs to create requirements, wireframes and rapid prototyping.
- Experience with analytics tools to assess product performance and user engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with distributed technologies, including APIs and databases.
What would be great to have:
Financial Services industry experience.
Engineering background.
Master’s in business administration, (MBA.)
Detailed knowledge and experience working with a broad range of financial risk management solutions in the banking industry.
Technical knowledge related to financial reporting, analysis and business intelligence.
Experience working in bank or financial institution, leading the finance or financial risk management areas including budgeting, planning, forecasting, profitability analysis and funds transfer pricing areas.

Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $151,200.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
