Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Parts Data Quality Team within Service Parts Operations is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Part Number Control Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to handle customer requests by utilizing databases to ensure that our information is processed accurately in our systems. Working cross-functionally to coordinate part number registration, run queries, and communicate effectively to all stakeholders.
Reporting to the Parts Data Quality Manager, the person in this role will support the Part Number Control’s objective to ensure accuracy and timeliness of parts data so that Toyota and Lexus service parts are orderable by our dealers and customers.
What you’ll be doing
Working customer requests through the TPNA portal database – Part Registration, Part Maintenance, Part Inquiries, Part Load Procurement, and Part Substitution.
Work multiple queries and ad-hoc production reports related to part number data integrity.
Perform part number maintenance to maintain data integrity – including part number loads, part number data updates, and support of new model launches.
Interface with global working groups at TMC in Japan and within SPO (Service Parts Operations) to resolve internal/external customer issues.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve escalated/complex part issues to provide an effective and timely solution.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Science, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
Experience processing reports and manipulating results by analyzing specific data from various queries.
Experience with report writing and presenting on-time performance KPIs to senior management and developing presentations to highlight areas of concern or gaps.
Proficient in Microsoft suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Knowledge using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge and experience in OEM supply chain parts management and processes.
Experience proactively managing and completing tasks within the required deadlines.
Must be able to deliver solutions through clear communication with stakeholders.
Have a customer centric approach to problem solving.
Current working schedule is Hybrid. The requirement is an onsite presence Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and working remotely Monday and Friday. This schedule supports the needs of the business and subject to future modifications.
Added bonus if you have
A Toyota Way mindset with experience using either JKK and/or TBP methodology.
Toyota Supply Chain experience and/or deep understanding of the automotive industry.
Experience working with a defined, repeatable process using operating procedures, and quality confirmation checks with attention to detail.
Ability to navigate through multiple databases and system applications (GSPS, TPNA, TSPS, APS, etc.) to locate the proper information.
Proven communication skills to include report writing and presenting on-time performance KPIs to senior management and developing presentations to highlight problems or gaps.
Ability to design and run macros on Excel, Power Query, VBA, etc.
