Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst to join the 2nd BSC SC MS & Paint Ops Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.
Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain. Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers. Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan. Coordinates part number attributes. Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system. Releases and maintains orders. Documents and resolves order delinquencies. Reports schedule adherence issues. Applies developed solutions to inventory plans. Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories. Creates schedules for products and services. Coordinates and supports process improvements. Works under general supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
Communicates and partners closely with various cross-functional teams, customers, engineering, manufacturing, operations, supplier management
Creates, tracks and manages purchase orders, material demands and shortages
Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions
Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques
Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers
Investigate complex ordering conditions
Develops and implements new ordering methodologies
Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations
Creates complex schedules
Develop materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals
Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM
Recommend changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies
Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they make.
Works under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
8+ years of experience working in materials management, warehousing, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment
8+ years of experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances
8+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
8+ years’ experience in commercial aerospace
8+ years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and or manufacturing support
8+ years’ experience in business operations
Experience managing external supplier partnerships
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
8+ years of experience with procurement systems including Electronic Resource Planning (ERPLN), Ariba, SAP or similar systems
8+ years’ Experience working with the ERPLN application
8+ years’ Experience working with One BPS (One Boeing Production System)
8+ years’ Experience and system knowledge of Bessy, eTRAC, CribMaster, CIMs, KITS, and Velocity
Experience in commercial aerospace manufacturing, customer support, business operations or related fields
Experience working with (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker

Summary Pay Range: $106,250 – 143,750
