The Role:
Reporting to the Corporate Vice President & GM of EPYC Cloud Business Group, the Chief of Staff is the central focal point spanning business and technical aspects of the EPYC Cloud Business Group (CBG) team. In this “hands-on” role, you will manage daily operations and serve as a focal point for communications amongst the leadership management team, acts as the strategic execution arm for CBG driving key initiatives, advises the CVP technically, and supports customer ecosystem development. Finally, the Chief of Staff acts as a strategy advisor to the CVP and his staff and in many cases will be the spokesperson for CBG in critical meetings.

The successful candidate is a proactive and execution focused leader. She/he is skilled in developing and sustaining positive interpersonal relationships, with a consistent track record of influencing for results in a matrixed environment. The Chief of Staff is creative and innovative in crafting solutions; is results driven with the ability to make decisions quickly and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with each function across CEAI staff to drive Long Range Planning (LRP), achieve OPEX and Capital budget targets and build a cohesive team environment
- Helps translate business strategy into operation execution across our organization, partners, ecosystems, product teams, and hybrid enterprises.
- Help draft business and employee engagement goals and drive success
- Drives cross-organizational initiatives that accelerate the growth of AMD server CPU platforms across hyperscale and enterprise environments.
- Plan resources to support team goals including creating and managing a quarterly hiring plan, global footprint and ensuring adequate and effective lab and data center footprint in partnership with Lab Strategy team
- Drive CBG working model (weekly staff and operations meetings); maintain a balanced calendar of team events
- Prepare presentations and keynote speeches on behalf of CVP for executive, customer and partner audiences to amplify the business message and CBG voice
- Prep CVP weekly with meeting briefs and updates for internal business, and help manage calendar readiness in partnership with the EA.
- Develop effective partnerships and work collaboratively with business partners (HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement etc.) to achieve team goals, manage internal communications and organization announcements
- Coordinate and manage key corporate deliverables on behalf of CBG.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated technical team/project leadership success;
- Proactive and results-focused
- Skilled at developing and fostering a cohesive team and a strong network of partners
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Action and results-orientation with the ability to make decisions quickly
Academic Credentials:
- Undergraduate engineering degree required, PMP and/or MBA preferred
