Supports and contributes to the success of our new employee orientation.

Reviews upcoming new employee hiring with talent acquisition and applicable supervisor to ensure there is a detailed plan.

Performs follow up surveys and interviews with recent hires to look for ways to improve our onboarding process.

Performs process walks with quality and production staff to align on-the-job training with actual performance on the floor and work instructions.

Works with Supervisors and quality to identify employees that need to go back through training.

Works with Supervisor to build deeper bench strength throughout work cells.
-
Identifies needed training for employees within assigned work cells.
-
Provides stand-down training as needed.
-
Ensures Workday and Ethics and Compliance training is up-to-date for all production employees.

Ability to work flexible off shift hours based on business needs.
What You Will Learn:

Exposure to every function expanded OJT practices

Exposure to Overheat and CFD areas at a process-by-process basis

Supporting the launch of the advanced proficiency cell

Skills required to succeed in a highly matrixed organization – effective communication, accountability through influence and structural expectations, project management, Sales/Inventory/Operations Planning.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Prior experience in training.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
University degree in technical field.
-
Prior experience in Welding.
-
SAP business system experience.
-
Leadership of people and/or projects in the Aerospace Industry.
-
Industry certifications such as CORE/Six Sigma/LEAN/Project Management/PE.
