Responsibilities:
- Timely investigation of new, incoming leads within PSG’s Salesforce CRM to determine the next steps based on the prospect’s request.
- Determine the sales readiness of leads and if they require further follow-up (via onsite meetings, Teams meetings, etc.) with the goal of developing them into sales opportunities.
- Set up, facilitate, and lead meetings with prospective PSG customers regarding new projects.
- Explain product features and benefits to potential customers through virtual presentations or detailed descriptions.
- Lead generation via cold calling, emailing, and the use of social media platforms.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to identify and facilitate communication between prospects and PSG.
- Work with the Customer Service team on incoming technical inquiries from new and/or current PSG customers.
- Support the tracking & documentation of open opportunities to ensure the current sales stage and the next steps are accurate.
- Participate in the funnel management process while offering insights to accelerate or retain sales, identify process gaps, and follow up activities that increase sales funnel expansion.
- Measure and report on sales and department metrics and suggest improvements, including measuring ROI on the inside sales contribution.
- Interact with strategic Channel Partners as a secondary point of contact concerning technical inquiries and potential opportunities.
- Support the Regional Sales Managers with targeted data gathering that enhances their account management activities.
- Work with the Business Unit to support the identification of new product ideas within existing and/or new markets.
- Regularly participate in customer interactions to increase positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members in marketing, product management, business unit management, and the sales organization to support the development of new programs, content, campaigns, and offerings.
- Liaison with the CRM analyst to modify, update, and improve CRM workflows, data accuracy, and technical requirements.
- Support the Bio Business Unit at trade shows/conferences by being able to effectively communicate with prospective customers and booth attendees while being able to answer their questions and provide proper follow-up.
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer interaction position.
- Experience working with CRM systems to manage customer communication processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS.
- Skilled in communicating priorities, plans, and information to employees throughout the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- This role may require up to 15% of travel, domestically and internationally. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 / annually
