The Boeing Company is looking for a Transmission Mechanic B that is located in Ridley Park, PA.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Perform the mechanical work required to prepare for and test the functionality of transmissions, rotor hubs, swashplates, vertical shafts and related accessory components
Responsibilities include assembling, installing, removing and disassembling parts and components in support of testing procedures
Setup and perform test procedures
Install and remove transmissions, rotor hubs, swashplates, shafts and their supplementary components to and from test stands
Inspect units and record test data
Follow procedures to replace required parts, and reassemble units to specified configuration(s)
Move assemblies within and between work areas
Maintain timely and accurate records
Perform all work in accordance with prints specifications, planning, other specified documents, or oral instructions, and in accordance with Company standards of safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping practice
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Basic Qualification (Required):
2 or more years of experience with assembly, rework, and repair of Transmissions (Automotive, Rotorcraft, Aerospace, or equivalent)

High school diploma/GED and/or vocational/trade school training
Relocation
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information
The selected candidate must be flexible to be able to work any shift as needed.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
$32.30/hour - $49.58/hour
