You will report to the manager of Data Center Facility Engineering and will be responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and efficiency of Oracle mission critical facilities infrastructure primarily on the west side of the Phoenix greater area - primarily Goodyear, AZ, and Compass, AZ.
As the facility engineer, you will coordinate with others to ensure the continuous availability of the power and cooling in the data center. Your role will be critical to supporting our customers growth and ensuring we deliver on our promises. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization including professional, technical, and operational depth and experience to continuously improve service quality. Good communication skills and familiarity with email and MS Office applications is essential. After hours contact for facilities emergencies, accessible via phone.
