Role Definition
As a Senior Strategy Analyst, you will concentrate on tracking backorders and aftermarket parts with the goal of reducing shortages and increasing sales. Your responsibilities include analyzing sales history, inventory, and stocking requests using tools such as SAS, Python, SQL, Excel, and PowerBI. In this role, you’ll be focused on advancing strategy and planning for your business segment through continuous monitoring and input from representatives to identify key opportunities.
What You Will Do:
Performs complex qualitative and quantitative research for S&P engagements, using advanced techniques to collect and analyze data and derive key trends, insights, and conclusions for the business segment.
Determines research strategy and leads major S&P consulting projects, working closely with consultants and engagement management to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
Coordinates with operational functions to define critical parameters, evaluate logistics workflows, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
Identifies, defines, and implements integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal teams.
Develops and analyzes data to prioritize opportunities for enhancing supply chain efficiency, inventory utilization, and cost-effectiveness, fostering internal and external alliances to explore improvement opportunities.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
