You will be responsible for building and assembling test hardware (cables, valve boxes, control boxes, interface boxes, etc.) and test solutions per engineering drawings, as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical equipment and device problems on the production line.

You will create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering to meet customer requirements. Will work in updating documentation (drawings, schematics, BOM, classification) and or providing markups of new and existing test hardware.

You will work in a collaborative team environment and be able to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and technicians.

You will assist in mentoring, coaching, and checking the work of technical support employees.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer

Demonstrated experience in building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and assemblies of test systems for the aviation industry (military specification, AS9100)
-
Proficient knowledge reviewing and editing engineering schematics and wire lists, and Minnesota State Electrical codes and statues to pass inspection.

Proficient knowledge of tools, testing equipment, soldering, and crimping (hand, electric, pneumatic).

Demonstrates clear communication and mentorship skills.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
