Responsibilities
- Asset Inventory Support: Assist with field validation to identify and document assets; capture nameplate data, locations, and basic asset attributes
- CMMS Data Preparation (Maximo): Support collection and organization of asset, location, and maintenance data for CMMS load readiness
- SOP & Documentation Support: Assist in drafting maintenance, operations, and safety procedures based on OEM manuals and team input
- Field Data Collection Vendor Coordination: Support coordination of third-party vendors performing asset tagging and data capture; help track progress and ensure work aligns to standards
- Data Quality Support: Review collected data for completeness and accuracy; flag missing or inconsistent information for follow-up
- Team Collaboration: Work with engineers, technicians, and SMEs to gather information and validate asset details
- Reporting Support: Provide updates on progress and assist in tracking asset inventory and documentation status
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (2nd year preferred)
- Strong interest in facilities, manufacturing, or asset management environments
- Basic understanding of engineering systems (HVAC, pumps, mechanical equipment)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite in mechanical or plant environments
- Strong communication and willingness to learn in a team setting
- Exposure to internships, coursework, or projects involving mechanical systems or facilities
- Familiarity with Excel or basic data management tools
- Interest in CMMS systems (Maximo or similar)
- Experience creating or documenting processes, procedures, or reports (academic or internship)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- $3k per month housing / living Expense Support provided during assignment
- One round-trip flight home per month

- Completion of assigned asset inventory tasks
- Accuracy and completeness of collected data
- Contribution to SOP drafts and documentation
- Timely follow-up on data gaps and assigned tasks
- Consistent communication and progress reporting
