Overview
A growing field services organization is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Developer to support, optimize, and enhance its Salesforce environment. This role will focus on improving system usability, performance, data integrity, and integrations across key business platforms, including ERP and analytics systems. Experience with Field FX is highly preferred.
Location / Work Arrangement
- In-office role based in the greater Cincinnati, OH area
- Occasional local travel to support operational stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Salesforce solutions supporting field service operations (work orders, dispatching, technician workflows, mobile execution, and service reporting)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions
- Optimize declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, approvals) and develop custom solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Maintain and improve Field FX functionality, including workflow optimization and user support
- Partner with IT and integration teams to support and enhance integrations between Salesforce and ERP and other operational systems
- Monitor and support middleware/integration processes, improving reliability and documenting data flows and mappings
- Support data movement and ETL processes to analytics or data warehouse platforms, ensuring consistency and data quality
- Assist with release management, including testing, validation, deployment support, and post-release monitoring
- Create and maintain technical documentation (solution designs, runbooks, troubleshooting guides)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Promote best practices around security, performance, and system maintainability
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Experience supporting field service operations (work orders, dispatching, technician mobility, service lifecycle)
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Lightning Experience and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Flow and declarative automation tools
- Experience with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing)
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and integrations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, in-office environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Field FX (implementation, configuration, or support)
- Integration experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi or similar)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
- Experience with ETL/data pipelines and analytics platforms (e.g., Domo or similar tools)
- Familiarity with API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), middleware orchestration, and data synchronization strategies
- Exposure to Salesforce DevOps practices (SFDX, Git, CI/CD, release management)
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
