Job Summary:
The Project Site Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the on-site work to install new or upgrade existing Electronic Security Systems (ESS) at Government facilities. With limited supervision from the Program Manager, manages the daily operations of all activities of a moderate to large sized Government Services (GS) project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, system specifications, and requirements of the project. In some cases, may be responsible for 2 sites located in close proximity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervises and directs the daily efforts of technicians to mount devices, establish communication/cabling pathways, and configure system head end and devices in accordance with the approved Installation Design Plan (IDP) drawings.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate red-lines to the IDP are captured throughout the installation. Coordinates with network/engineering, logistics, subcontractor, and administrative resources as needed.
- Serves as the single point of contact to the KBR Program Manager and Government site stakeholders to provide timely status reports of work accomplished, issues encountered, and staffing considerations.
- Executes in accordance with the approved project schedule and provides task level updates or insight to possible delays promptly.
- Leads acceptance testing and drives troubleshooting efforts for any devices, communications pathways, or configurations not performing in accordance with requirements.
- Responsibilities may include but not limited to transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, contract changes, etc.
- Ensures all employees performing on-site work adhere to safety standards, regulations, and best practices, leading by example and instructing through demonstration as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in an appropriate discipline. Eight (8) years additional relevant experience may substitute for required education.
- Ten (10) years of experience in electronic security system installation and/or management of similar projects.
- Must have experience utilizing engineering drawings to perform or supervise installation work.
- Requires experience testing and troubleshooting electronic security system.
- Must be familiar with applicable codes for electrical and minor construction work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
