There is an exciting opportunity within Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) – Lafayette Engine Center. You'll have the unique opportunity to support indirect inventory, lease analysis, support legal entity closing and be a trusted business advisor and
This role will provide you with exposure to month end closing, reconciliations, audits, indirect inventory and analysis for decision support for our leadership team. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your data analytic skills with access to software and training for tools such as Power BI and various AI tools.
What You Will Do
Indirect inventory and Indirect Standard Cost Analysis
Analysis and verification of Manual invoicing and Supplier Charges
Lease Reporting and Analysis
Online Signature Authorization Coordinator
Analysis and completion of Tax Surveys
Closing Coordinator for Lafayette – Non-direct inventory entries, Trial balance and Reconciliations
Globals and General Ledger support for Lafayette
Audits – Internal and External Analysis and Reporting
Ad Hoc Projects
What You Will Have:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
