RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate monthly reporting per the contract documents
- Coordinate project execution plans and resource-loaded scheduling to ensure each project remains within established specifications, timelines and budget
- Perform site visits and audits, review safety procedures, attend customer meetings and execute process updates to manage and meet customer and project budget expectations
- Provide client updates and reporting to ensure all business goals are achieved
- Coordinate with internal groups on organizational projects
- Administer excellent customer service to promote the organization as an industry leader
- Engage in all aspects of the project from mobilization through completion
- Prepare schedules and cost reporting and coordinate work tasks
- Manage customer deliverable as per the contract; i.e. monthly invoice, monthly report, local content reporting
- Coordinate supply chain and manage potential issues or concerns
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or similar field, will consider equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proficient in Oracle Primavera (P6) preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- 1+ years of related project management experience in construction, electrical, or similar utility industries preferred
- Ability to research and analyze, projects and processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to details and excellent follow through to ensure successful projects every time
- Ability to read drawings and perform construction take-offs on electrical work, substation utility, and industrial electrical
- Basic knowledge of estimating, construction, design, finance and project management
- Excellent MS Office skills, with construction management software and CAD experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This role can report to one of the following office locations: Naperville, IL or East Chicago, IN
- Work is performed in the field at construction sites; field work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or crouch for extended periods of time
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and stay late when necessary
- Travel required within the state routinely and out of state occasionally
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
