The Boeing Company’s Total Rewards organization is currently looking for a Compensation Senior Manager – Front Line Compensation to join their team in Seattle, WA, North Charleston, SC, Salt Lake, UT, Helena, MT or Mesa, AZ.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Leader to spearhead a critical compensation transformation project focused on our hourly pay practice. This role will lead the re-design and implementation of a unified, market-aligned compensation structure for approximately 15,000 hourly employees across multiple business units with misaligned pay practices.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration, align initiatives with business goals, and develop a scalable, equitable compensation framework that enhances talent attraction, retention, and engagement. They will possess exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams and external consultants. A deep commitment to equity and inclusion in compensation practices is critical to maintaining fairness and transparency throughout the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end project management of the hourly pay practice transformation, including assessment, design, implementation, and communication
Analyze current compensation structures across multiple business units to identify misalignments, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization
Develop a comprehensive, market-competitive hourly pay framework that aligns with organizational goals and supports equitable pay practices
Collaborate closely with Human Resources (HR) leaders, business unit executives, finance, legal, and external consultants to ensure alignment and compliance
Drive stakeholder engagement and change management efforts to facilitate smooth adoption of new compensation structures
Oversee data analysis, market benchmarking, job evaluation, and pay range development specific to hourly roles
Establish clear governance and decision-making processes for ongoing compensation management post-implementation
Lead and mentor a cross-functional project team, fostering collaboration and high performance
Develop and execute a clear communication strategy tailored for hourly employees to ensure understanding and transparency of the new compensation structure and an “always on” on-going communication plan to ensure hourly employees regularly receive updates on their compensation and benefits structure
Consider, understand, and plan for the impact of union sites and bargaining outcomes on non-union sites and front-line leaders
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience with hourly pay practices and compensation
5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives in a complex, global organization
3+ years of experience leading direct reports
Experience with job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, and pay structure design for hourly roles
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience analyzing data to extract insights for strategic decision-making and planning
Experience with large-scale compensation projects

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $182,750 - $264,500
