We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Airborne & Ground Optics Department in McKinney, Texas. The responsibilities will include all aspects of the mechanical design process from concept to model/drawing completion for mechanical components required to support product builds working under the general supervision of a team lead. You will work closely with Chief Engineers, Lead Engineers and product engineers. What You Will Do

Utilization of RTX tools including CREO modeling software and Product Data Management (PDM).
Design and documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS office suite.
Execution of engineering change and drawing release process.
Some assembly of your designs may be required.
Analytical and technical engineering work within a program environment with possible presentations on designs as needed.
Training in Raytheon processes and procedures.
Work may include participation in building hardware in a lab environment. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
Experience with 3D modeling software (CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent). Qualifications We Prefer
Mechanisms or opto-mechanical design experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including basic knowledge, and understanding of tolerancing.
Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written).
Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team. What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
