Job Description
The Production Operations Coordinator supports the SVP, Operations & Finance of the Universal Theatrical Group which oversees all Universal Picture’s stage productions and investments. Current productions include Wicked Broadway, Wicked London, Death Becomes Her Broadway, and Wicked Nat’l and Int’l tours. The position deals with highly confidential financial and proprietary information. It interacts with internal and external business partners including Development, Production, Tax, Business Affairs, and Legal.
- Provide administrative support to the SVP, Head of Operations and the extended NYC based team.
- Manage a busy and changing team schedule while balancing multiple duties as Department Coordinator
- Support EHS leads, responsible for timely Data entry
- Perform multiple financial and accounting functions, including but not limited to: initiating foreign currency hedging, orchestrating production funding (domestic and foreign), and other accounting functions such as production disbursements
- Support VP of TUG Legal in managing contracts and sending documents for signature
- Liaison with Tax, Development, Business Affairs, HR, Legal, EHS, Corp. Finance and other business units of the Company
- Work directly with production partners such as 321 Theatrical Management, Playful Productions, Working Title, and others
- Coordinate and maintain a smooth flow of information and documents
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years working for a senior level executive
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Trust worthy and able to maintain strict confidentiality for highly sensitive materials
