Leidos is currently seeking a Software Specialist to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
Ability to lead small groups of teammates to successful delivery of milestones on agreed requirements and schedule. Responsible for managing customer expectations to remain in alignment to agreed requirements. Duties include analysis of systems requirements, timelines, requirements allocation, defining interfaces, system testing and integration and quality assurance. Responsible for technical planning and system design, development and integration, and system verification and validation. Influences development of innovative solutions that impact strategic customer goals results. Recommend new technical solutions in support of strategy and operations. Includes work of other technical staff that impact on project results and outputs. Applies technical knowledge to resolve highlight complex problems, develops innovative solutions through research and integration of best practices. Ability to communicate with leadership regarding matters of significant importance, including new concepts, practices and approaches. Proven ability to influence others with respect to weighing the pros and cons of alternatives and the best value approach to phased solutioning.
Basic Qualifications
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Able to effectively utilize core scripting languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Has in-depth understanding of Core programming tools (i.e. Python), ServiceNow principles, algorithmic theories, data analysis concepts and their application across range of deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an on-prem environment
- Experience navigating proprietary customer developed systems and interfaces
- Able to create and present power point presentations to demonstrate concepts and solution pathways.
- Experience in the Service Now Modules of; Inventory, Procurement, Software Activation, Report Generation
- Experience working with Data Analysis and presentation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
