This Cloud DevOps Engineer position will be a member of a Cloud DevOps Delivery team within the Lockheed Martin Enterprise IT (EIT) FORCE portfolio. The position will be responsible for the development, deployment and operations of cloud product and services.
Most work will be in support of Lockheed Martin's "Cloud First" strategy, which includes Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Basic Qualifications:- Responsible for deploying code across the full stack and scale deployments based on standard patterns
- Strong ability to work closely with the Product Analyst to ensure services in development are in alignment with the stakeholders expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
- Responsible for staying current with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and other 3rd party vendor offerings for current and potential products and services offered by the FORCE portfolio.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment for bug fixes
- Experience in multiple tiers of the infrastructure and application stacks; should have knowledge and be able to interface across the tiers of the stack
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
- Provide hooks across multiple languages and formatting auto documented code commentary
- Advance integration of Cloud service offerings with business area components
- Conduct systems tests for security and availability.
- Develop and maintain design and operational documentation.
- Execution of service provisioning to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and report against infrastructure Key Indicators (KPI)
- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
- Promote adherence to corporate infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards; Change Management, Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity Plan, (DR/BCP), and Security / Government regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operation best practices
- Establish a culture of ownership and accountability for Cloud success across all levels of the FORCE Product organization both operationally and fiscally.
- Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Work with team on backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Continuous improvement with infrastructure and application development, following all best practices and procedures as established by LM.
- Ability to harden systems and understands how automation can be used to secure infrastructure
- Provide feedback to fellow team members kindly and constructively, and actively seek feedback for professional improvement and growth.
- Experience in disaster mitigation and has employed automation to reduce impact with guidance.
- Strong ownership with a sense of urgency, and drive to launch services.
- Strong understanding security principles of Identify and Access Management
- Ability to define & configure service patterns and recommend changes to standard configurations to meet business need
This position requires working some off hours to accommodate production issue resolution.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the organization.
Desired Skills:- 5 years of demonstrated hands on experience with:
- Automation, CI/CD, with Infra as Code and component modularization
- Google Cloud services, landing zone configurations
- Oracle Cloud services, landing zone configurations
- AWS platform services, landing zone configurations
- Azure platform services, landing zone configurations
- Scripting and tooling experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bicep, Bash, JSON, Powershell or .YAML
- Familiarity with industry cloud systems, processes, and tool-sets that include GitHub/GitLab and Visual Studio Code
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multi-task resolves complex issues AGILE Methodology experience
- Experience with working on teams in a geographically dispersed virtual environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $107,300 - $185,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
