Description:You will be the Numerical Control Programmer Senior for the Computer Aided Inspection (CAI) Group. Our team is responsible for supporting a rapidly growing shop by developing and implementing efficient CAI processes on various types of equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Numerical Control Programmer Senior you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of CAI processes that enhance shop productivity and equipment utilization.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and optimize CAI processes for equipment.
- Implement efficient inspection workflows and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate solutions.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to shop personnel.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:• High School Degree or higher
• Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
• CMM programming experience using a Zeiss
Calypso package
• Proven process improvement and problem
solving experience
• Knowledge of inspection practices
• Ability to read and interpret engineering
drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing (GD&T)
Desired Skills:• Experience programming Zeiss CMM’s using
Calypso software
• Experience with Zeiss Inspect for CT scanning
or Structured Light Scanning is a plus
• Ability to design fixturing / work holding
solutions
• Experience evaluating new designs and
working with engineering to improve part
inspectability
• Experience leading the development and
implementation of new processes
• Candidate should have a combination of
experience and education equivalent to one of
the following:
o 5 years machining programming experience
plus bachelor’s degree
o 7 years machining programming experience
plus associates degree
o 9 years machining programming experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
