Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Stf (Level 4) for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting all aspects of additive manufacturing production, driving cost, technical, and schedule performance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Stf (Level 4) you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality additive manufacturing parts while optimizing processes, schedules, and costs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review requests for new parts and develop manufacturing processes.
- Ensure continuous workflow and assist with work scheduling on the additive manufacturing line.
- Provide design input to improve producibility and support transition to production.
- Identify and implement new technology and capital equipment opportunities.
- Troubleshoot quality defects and equipment issues as they arise.

Basic Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years experience as a manufacturing engineer
- Knowledgeable in additive manufacturing processes
- Strong communication skills in support of cross functional coordination
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex additive manufacturing problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Skills:- Experience with the following is a plus:
o LBPF process
o EOS machines
o Printing AlSi10Mg material
o Magics software
o Creo or similar CAD software
o SAP
- Ability to manage projects in a shop environment and driving them from initial concept to completion on aggressive schedules
- Experience specing out, justifying and implementing capital equipment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with design engineering to incorporate design for additive manufacturing concepts into new designs

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
