Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Associate Director for the Global Industrial Solutions (GIS) team.
Seeking a strong, respected leader to guide their team and ensure alignment across P&W and RTX, to drive closure on P&W obligations, support campaign wins, and keep programs sold in foreign countries. Industrial expectations and requirements are unique in each country and require a varied and entrepreneurial approach.
This position will be responsible for Industrial Cooperation (IC), including partners, with an emphasis on campaigns and accountable for managing execution of existing obligations. The position will also support the capture team, airframe OEM's, and senior leadership to understand country requirements and develop and progress strategies and potential offerings to differentiate proposals; identify, negotiate and ensure execution of industrial obligations, and keep programs sold. The position will also work closely with the production and sustainment execution teams for obligation execution, supported by 1 direct report(s) focusing on offset and EU ESI obligation execution.
This position will report to the Director, GIS, International Customer Solutions.
What You Will Do:
- Regularly work with the Program Management Office, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Contracts, Engineering, and other P&W departments in support of developing and implementing Industrial Cooperation offerings.
- Meet and represent P&W with high level foreign ranking officials and/or customers and suppliers.
- Propose and negotiate Industrial Cooperation Agreements and related commercial contracts with the support of applicable functions.
- Develop and lead the execution of Industrial Cooperation plans and Agreements – driving results to the customer and EACs
- Lead proposals and projects to meet industrial cooperation requirements and support engine sales campaigns and fulfill Industrial Cooperation obligations.
- Coordinate with and leverage other RTX divisions foreign presence and activities to support Industrial Cooperation requirements.
- Implement Export License best practices in all foreign activities in support of Industrial Cooperation programs.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Minimum of 12+ years of experience in any combination of program management, supply chain management business experience in marketing/sales, and business development OR minimum of 10+ years of experience in any combination of program management, supply chain management business experience in marketing/sales, and business development with an advanced degree in a related field.

Experience to include: working with corporate communications on press releases, professional social media, or interviews, ability to operate independently and lead Industrial Cooperation effort to generate results for customers and P&W business, a business and finance background along with strong communication skills (written and verbal), experience with direct customer involvement at management levels, strong executive level presentation skills, robust negotiation skills, and the ability to travel internationally (up to 20%), working knowledge on forecasting AOP financials related to projects and ability to develop front end of the business strategy, concisely convey into actionable plans, and drive results through execution.

6+ years of experience proposing and negotiating Industrial Cooperation projects, Agreements, or international contracts with customers.

4+ years of experience in a campaign support role with direct interface to customer or offset authority

4+ years of experience managing budgets, preferably EACs
-
4+ years of experience with International Business and on ITAR controlled programs and technology. Working knowledge of ITAR documentation, governing licenses and Agreements

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
