Job Objective
To ensure the safe, hygienic, secure, and culturally appropriate management of female accommodation facilities on a remote oil and gas site, in full compliance with KBR policies and standards
.Key Accountabilities
Accommodation Operations
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the female dormitory, ensuring compliance with KBR Camp Management Plans and Camp Standards.
- Control and monitor room allocation, occupancy levels, and resident movements.
- Ensure accommodation facilities meet cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance standards at all times.
- Coordinate timely rectification of maintenance defects with Facilities and Maintenance teams.
Housekeeping & Staff Supervision
- Supervise housekeeping personnel assigned to female accommodation areas.
- Monitor performance, attendance, work quality, and compliance with HSE requirements.
- Ensure adequate housekeeping coverage in line with occupancy levels and project manpower.
Resident Welfare & Conduct
- Act as the designated welfare contact for female residents.
- Enforce dormitory rules, company Code of Conduct, and site policies fairly and consistently.
- Address resident complaints and concerns promptly, escalating where required through proper channels.
- Maintain a respectful, harassment‑free living environment aligned with Client and KBR Ethics & Compliance requirements.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure dormitory compliance with KBR HSE Management and Client HSE Procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify unsafe conditions, hygiene risks, or non‑compliance.
- Participate in emergency response actions, including fire drills, evacuations, and muster roll calls.
- Report incidents, near misses, and observations using approved reporting systems.
Security & Access Control
- Coordinate with Site Security to maintain controlled and restricted access to female accommodation areas.
- Ensure privacy and cultural sensitivities are respected at all times.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, check‑in/check‑out, incidents, and complaints.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by Camp Management and Client Representatives.
- Support Client, Internal Audit, and HSE inspections.
Authority
- Authority to enforce accommodation rules within designated female dormitory areas.
- Authority to raise work requests, HSE observations, and non‑conformance reports related to accommodation services.
- No financial or disciplinary authority unless delegated by Camp Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Certificate or equivalent (Hospitality, Facilities Management, or Administration certification preferred).
- HSE awareness training (Fire Safety, First Aid awareness – advantage).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in camp services, accommodation supervision, or hospitality facility management.
- Previous experience on remote industrial sites (oil & gas, EPC/EPCM, construction, or mining) preferred.
- Experience working under major IOCs or in Majnoon oil field is an advantage.
Competencies & Skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive welfare matters professionally and confidentially.
- Knowledge of basic middle East labour welfare expectations (accommodation, hygiene, worker rights).
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Word, Excel, email).
- Cultural awareness and ability to work in a multinational environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote site environment.
