Role Definition:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the district, service center, yard, or work site.
What You Will Do (including but not limited to):
- Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries.
- Assist with new orders, cycle counts and RFID operations.
- Read and understand SOPs and Risk Assessments.
- Ability to understand Inventory Control Process.
- Exhibit equipment and product understanding.
- Ability to read work orders and follow verbal instruction.
- Count, weigh, secure, tag, palettize, and stack materials and maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Maintain work area, machines, and equipment.
- Operate and inspect industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Assist in developing a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days.
- Must be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days.
- Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product.
- Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.
Additional Information:
- 1st shift: Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM.
- This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.

Summary Pay Range:
$17.30 - $22.04
