Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Human Resources department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Administrator for Japan Staff Support.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide a wide range of business and living support so that expatriates and business travelers from Japan can integrate into the area to concentrate on their work.
Reporting to the HR manager, the person in this role will support the local process to operate TMC・ PPES HR’s overseas compensation, benefits, and policies at TBMNC. We need you to explain the rules, process, adjustments, etc. under the direction of Treasurer, expatriates in management, and local supervisor.
What you’ll be doing
Support administration like payroll, benefit reimbursement, emergent support, start-up life for Japanese staff located at TBMNC
Provide orientation and manuals for Japanese expatriates
Answer questions and support Japanese expatriates understanding company policies
Support tax filing and annual physical exams booking for Japanese expatriates
Build good relationships with the local community and vendors
Plan and coordinate numerous, complex meetings and conference calls, especially with Japanese executives
Coordinate with a lead executive assistant and provide support to Japanese executives to ensure that all office operations run smoothly, and all administrative details of daily functions are managed
Manage Japanese executives’ calendar and travel schedule
Arrange travel, meetings, and general office needs
Support Japanese – English document translation
Manage expense reporting, P-Card reporting, and invoice processing in a timely manner, ensuring correctness
Manage or coordinate special projects
Plan the FY budget and process invoices
What you bring
Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
Written and verbal fluency in English and Japanese
Microsoft Office experience
Experience communicating to all levels of the organization
Administrative assistant experience
Added bonus if you have
Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Administration, Business or related degree
Japanese expatriate support experience
HR experience
