Description:You will be the Manufacturing Support Team Member for the Manufacturing Support Team. Our team is responsible for developing, revising, and optimizing company policies, procedures, and manufacturing work controls to improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Support Team Member you will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the operational backbone of our manufacturing environment. You will partner with cross‑functional groups to ensure clear, effective documentation and continuous process improvement.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and revise company policies, procedures, and manufacturing work controls.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, management systems, and reporting documentation.
- Analyze existing processes to identify efficiency and cost‑effectiveness improvements.
- Coordinate implementation of updated policies and ensure compliance across manufacturing operations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on procedural matters.

Basic Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency reading, understanding, and writing work instructions for manufacturing processes.
Strong listening, reading and writing skills.
Basic proficiency with PC, keyboarding, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desired Skills:Demonstrated ability to complete organizational
projects and goals by performing tasks requiring
discretion and general knowledge and ability. Errors
in judgment or failure to achieve results would
normally require a moderate expenditure of
resources to rectify.
Demonstrated general knowledge and application of
industry practices, techniques, and standards.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal and
external contacts. Represents organization on specific
projects, teams.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of

Working knowledge of S4 & MPM Link.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
