Overview
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports day‑to‑day HR operations by providing administrative and coordination assistance across HR functions, including HRIS data maintenance, employee relations support, leave of absence (LOA) intake and processing, onboarding, investigations intake, and benefits/compensation recordkeeping. The role manages high‑volume inbound phone and email inquiries, processes LOA transactions across systems, documents interactions for accuracy and compliance, and delivers timely, accurate guidance on LOA policies and procedures. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with Site HR and other stakeholders. It is an on‑site role based primarily at IAD – Dulles International Airport, with occasional support required at DCA – Reagan National Airport.
Pay: $25.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

- Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails while providing excellent customer service and timely assistance to team members.
- Serve as the first point of contact and intake for HR inquiries and investigations, providing accurate guidance and escalating issues through the proper channels when needed.
- Document all interactions thoroughly and promptly, ensuring accurate case data and compliance with service‑level agreements for reporting and metrics/KPIs.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders through consistent communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and monitor the completion of all onboarding activities, including required documentation, system inputs, and follow‑up tasks.
- Demonstrate accountability in delivering clear, accurate communication to all stakeholders.
- Prioritize responsibilities effectively and maintain proficiency in managing an assigned workload.
- File, retrieve, and organize personnel documents; maintain employee files and the HR filing system.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with employees and management.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Support performance management and improvement tracking processes.
- Assist with employee relations by gathering documentation, routing information, and supporting HR as needed.
- Support company‑wide employee communication activities.
- Assist with compensation and benefits communication and maintain related records.
- Support employee safety, wellness, and health reporting; complete verification of employment requests.
- Provides general administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operation of the Administrative Office, including additional duties as needed and covering the front desk when required.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred.
- Two to Three (2-3) years demonstrated Human Resource experience.
- College degree or similar work experience required.
- Experience with a large (300+) capacity in a Human Resource function preferred.
- Experience with employees located in multiple sites preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred.
