KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
KBR isseekinga highly skilled Systems Engineer to support planning, development, integration, operation, and evaluation of autonomous systems simulationenvironment. The selected candidate will work closely with government, industry, and partners to assess technology maturity, develop integration strategies, and support acquisition planning.
Innovative Projects:KBR’swork is at the forefront ofengineering,logistics, operations, science, program management, missionITand cybersecuritysolutions.
Support integration plans, interface definition, verification strategies, and test approaches for autonomous systems.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including operators, engineers, and acquisition professionals.
Familiarity with requirements management software (GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus), Test Management, and Defect Tracking (JIRA).
Hands-on experience with container technologies, including Docker andPodman, for building, running, and troubleshooting containerized applications.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in autonomy development, autonomous systems integration, AI/ML systems, robotics, or advanced mission systems.
Prior experience supporting Air Force programs, particularly inFighter, unmanned systems, or advanced mission systems.
Knowledge of digital engineering tools, modeling & simulation, and architecture frameworks (e.g.,DoDAF, UAF, MBSE).
