Description:You will be the Production Planner Sr. for the Production Planning Team. Our team is responsible for optimizing manufacturing workflows and ensuring seamless shop‑floor operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Planner Sr. you will be responsible for driving manufacturing efficiency and supporting the shop‑floor team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Create and standardize next‑generation manufacturing work instructions.
- Support shop‑floor operators, gather feedback, and resolve work stoppages through hardware support and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Conduct training for shop‑floor personnel on manufacturing processes.
- Interpret assembly drawings and specifications to define manufacturing steps that meet all requirements.
- Apply mechanical aptitude to conceptualize assemblies, considering material properties, heat transfer, and structural characteristics.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:• At least 2 years within an electronics manufacturing center with hands-on assembly, soldering, bonding, coating, and wiring.
• Associate's degree in a related field (Engineering Technology), or High School diploma with additional specialized training equivalent to a related Associate's degree
• Strong understanding of electronic components, and manufacturing processes.
• Able to comprehend and follow work instructions.
• Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:• 3 years of aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
• Hands on experience with solder, wiring, bonding, and other electronics assembly processes.
• Familiarity of industry standards for electronic assembly requirements such as the IPC J-STD-001.
• Familiarity with SAP/Apriso (Qnotes, Fabrication Plans, BOMs).
• Highly motivated, strong work ethic, and able to build effective working relationships with others to accomplish
complex team objectives.
• Experience with IRST, AirDom, JASSM, HF Programs.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
