What You'll Be Doing
- Support licensed blasters with underground drilling and blasting activities while following all safety protocols
- Prepare blast areas by handling tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily operations
- Assist with loading, stemming, and securing blast sites under direct supervision
- Conduct routine inspections, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure safe underground conditions
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient, safe production activities

- Demonstrated ability to work safely in underground mining or heavy industrial environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures and instructions
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks in confined and physically demanding settings
- Willingness to learn blasting operations and support production goals as part of a team
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work varying shifts as operationally required
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer
- $26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
