Hardware Engineering, Test Solutions, includes all engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with every Raytheon product. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management.
The Space Test Solutions Department designs exquisite test systems for space payloads for the Department of War, NASA, NOAA and other organizations. We are multi-discipline, hands-on, designing the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
As part of the Space Test Solutions team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) design, development, build, integration, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.
This position is 100% ONSITE in El Segundo, CA
What You Will Do

Define requirements for test equipment of space payloads
-
Design test system electronic architecture to ensure robust operations
-
Implement electrical designed test capability on hardware with high-speed interfaces
-
Integrate electrical, optical and mechanical systems in addition to engineering units and space payloads

Create test plans for test suite validation

Conduct test equipment validation
-
Support test equipment through payload testing completion
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
-
Experience with LabView and/or TestStand
-
Experience designing circuit cards, cables and test assembly electronics for Test Products
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand as a software developer

Experience designing Test Solutions from requirements

Experience with Independent Verification and Validation of test systems
-
Active Top Secret DoW clearance

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
