Analyze current-state payroll processes and identify inefficiencies.

Design future‑state processes; document workflows and SOPs.

Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or PDCA methodologies.

Create and maintain a payroll improvement roadmap.

Define and maintain payroll standards and governance.
-
Ensure consistency across global payroll operations.
-
Serve as change lead for system and process updates.
-
Develop communication, rollout, and adoption plans.
-
Partner with technical teams to clarify requirements and minimize rework.

Facilitate workshops and collaborative design sessions.
-
Lead and coordinate payroll projects and operational initiatives.
-
Manage all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

Create project plans, deliverables, and timelines; report risks and progress.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
This role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree and 7+ years or relevant experience with HR, Finance, Timekeeping, and Payroll data.

7 or more years of experience with international payroll to include strong understanding of global payroll practices, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.

Experience with structured project management methodologies.

Strong experience analyzing and redesigning end-to-end payroll processes in a complex or global environment.

Proven experience applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or PDCA.

Ability to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and implement scalable process solutions.

Experience in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and process maps.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo and Workday, Experience with Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools

Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
