We are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for closing contracts with commercial sales customers at defined monthly goals that ensure both partner and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within established company processes.
- Conduct suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
- Call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify leads, and drive opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Identify and close additional purchases of products and services within customer communities.
- Collaborate with Support, Account Management, and Business Development teams.
- Respond to customer requests for information and deliver online presentations.
- Attend up to two trade shows per year.
- Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
- Stay knowledgeable and up to date on construction industry changes and developments.
- Keep management informed with timely reports and updates.
- Identify revenue opportunities within customer communities through communication and programs.
- Respond to phone calls and electronic communications.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, filing, and word processing.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Two- or four-year degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years’ prior sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in closing sales opportunities in a competitive market.
- Strong communication, organizational, and numerical skills.
Additional Details
- This position requires up to 50% travel.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
