HVAC Lead Installer – Fayetteville, NC
Let's skip the corporate fluff.
You've read enough job postings that sound like they were written by a committee of people who've never held a set of gauges in their life. This isn't that.
The greater Fayetteville area's fastest-growing HVAC service and installation company is looking for a Lead Installer who knows their craft, takes pride in a clean install, and is ready to land somewhere they can actually build something long-term.
If that's you, keep reading. If not, no hard feelings — go enjoy your day.
What You'll Be Doing (aka: the actual job)
Installing the full lineup — condensers, coils, furnaces, package units, rooftop units, mini splits, thermostats, zoning systems, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, IAQ products. If it moves air, heats something, or cools something down, you're touching it.
You'll also be crawling through attics and belly-crawling through crawl spaces like the HVAC professional you are. Glamorous? No. Skilled work that pays well? Absolutely.
Other responsibilities include duct design and installation, system wiring, reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to get the job done right the first time, paperwork (yes, it exists, yes you have to do it on time), and keeping your company vehicle clean — because a dirty truck is a first impression nobody asked for.
What They're Looking For
- 2+ years of installation experience — not "I watched a YouTube video once" experience. Real experience.
- EPA Certification — non-negotiable. Don't have it, don't apply.
- Your own hand and power tools — come ready to work, not to borrow.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals without squinting and guessing — and actually act on what you see.
- Strong enough to lift 50 lbs — because HVAC equipment has never once been light.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record (or close to it).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check — they're a professional operation, not a social experiment.
- A HS diploma or GED. That's the bar. You cleared it.
Bottom Line
If you're a skilled HVAC Lead Installer who does quality work, shows up on time, and doesn't need to be babysat — this company will treat you right.
