About the Role
We are hiring a full-time Account Executive responsible for in-person, retail sales within an assigned local territory. This role involves meeting directly with consumers and decision-makers to present and sell our NRG energy services.
This is a face-to-face sales position. It is not door-to-door residential sales.
What You Will Be Selling
You will be selling NRG energy services to consumers in a retail setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person meetings with consumers in a retail setting
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Present service solutions tailored to client needs
- Explain pricing, contract terms, and service options clearly
- Negotiate agreements within company guidelines
- Close sales and complete required documentation
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
This position requires local travel within the assigned territory during standard business hours.
Qualifications
- Prior sales, customer service, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable conducting in-person meetings and presentations
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year (guaranteed)
- Commission: Paid per closed sale
- Performance-based earnings potential beyond base salary
