RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Duties)
- Develop, maintain, and update GSOC incident and threat report templates, processes, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with Global Safety & Security (GSS) staff to establish and update reporting priorities.
- Create and distribute daily incident and threat reports based on input from GSOC staff and leadership.
- Provide training sessions to GSOC staff and leadership on support and analysis techniques.
- Monitor various intelligence sources to provide real-time visibility on global events.
- Evaluate threat intelligence and assess risks to employees and assets according to Adobe’s standards.
- Process raw data into a finished intelligence product to disseminate to appropriate stakeholders.
- Support global investigations and security operations oversight.
- Research and write reports on security risks for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify, track, and analyze emerging security threats and trends.
- Conduct case reviews and update intelligence planning as required.
- Review and analyze reports for content, structure, and completeness.
- Stay informed of security events impacting operations and stability.
- Provide research, analysis, and briefings on security threats and risks.
- Recommend security strategy adjustments based on threat developments.
- Develop or reference available archives and databases for threat and risk analysis.
- Monitor geopolitical events affecting corporate activities and notify as necessary.
- Monitor open-source intelligence and internal systems for potential threats.
- Analyze and escalate relevant threats while developing actionable responses.
- Coordinate with emergency services during incidents.
- Utilize access control and video management platforms to assess and escalate threats.
- Preferred experience with Ontic, Dataminr, InternationalSOS Travel Tracker, Everbridge.
- Utilize research and analytical skills to evaluate data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Basic knowledge of open-source intelligence practices & tools, security procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Support GSOC Operators/Supervisors with additional tasks as needed.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS (To Perform Job Duties)
- Must pass the Critical testing with a score of 85% or greater.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an area of study relevant to this position, or; High School Diploma + additional years equivalent experience relevant to this position.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Global Security Operations Center or Risk/Threat/Intel Analysis Center preferred.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge and experience with video management systems, physical access control systems, intercom, incident
- Have strong prioritizing abilities.
- Ability to communicate (written & verbal) clearly and concisely.
- Understanding of the global geopolitical and security landscape (to include local, bay area).
- Aptitude to learn our business footprint to enable a “how it matters to us” perspective.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and make sound decisions.
- A professional demeanor, along with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Able to manage and handle situations of a sensitive nature and maintain company’s confidentiality and information security practices (medical record, personnel issues, investigations, public relations incidents, emergency personnel contact information, etc.).
Other Requirements
- The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Intelligence Operator will be expected to be on call outside of their normal shift schedule for emerging global crisis events that could potentially impact the client personnel or assets.
- 2-5 years of Global Security Operations Center experience.
- Must be knowledgeable of GSOC policies and procedures.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Have a strong knowledge of security and emergency operations.
- Possess a solid employment history demonstrating reliability and dependability.
