Join the growing Collins Aerospace Core Systems and Libraries team and play a pivotal role in defining the next generation of avionics. We’re looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager who is energized by building innovative software solutions and leading high-performing teams at the forefront of aerospace technology.
In this role, you won’t just manage projects, you will drive the architecture and development of cutting-edge, safety-critical software systems that power modern aircraft. You’ll lead efforts across the full lifecycle, from concept and design through verification and integration, while advancing open architecture solutions that are transforming the industry.

What You Will Do

Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development

Drive the architecture, design, and delivery of safety-critical avionics software aligned to civil certification standards (DO-178)

Own execution across scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring successful delivery of complex engineering programs

Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices across development, verification, and certification processes

Partner cross-functionally with program leadership, systems, and customers to align technical solutions with business and mission objectives

Guide and support bid and proposal efforts, shaping technical strategy and estimating scope for new business opportunities

Build and maintain a strong team through strategic hiring, workforce planning, and talent development

Identify risks early and drive proactive solutions to ensure program success and continuous improvement
