Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct proactive cold calling, outreach, and follow-up to generate high-quality leads and expand the customer base.
- Present compelling product demonstrations and technical solutions to prospective clients, highlighting value propositions aligned with their needs.
- Manage existing accounts through regular communication, upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage pipeline stages, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that benefit both clients and the company while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
- Maintain comprehensive records of interactions, sales progress, and territory insights to inform strategic decisions.
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or B2B sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong management skills with experience in business development, account management, and territory oversight.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of technology sales or technical products is highly desirable; experience in retail or inside sales is a plus.
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively and identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
