Manager, Live and Studio Production, CVS Health Media Production Group
CVS Health is seeking a highly capable, hands-on Manager, Live and Studio Production to join the CVS Health Media Production Group. This leader will combine strong people management with direct production expertise, guiding day-to-day studio operations while actively supporting live, live-to-tape, and studio-based productions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience executing technical and production work in a corporate or in-house environment, thrives in fast-paced settings, and communicates with confidence across clients, executives, and production teams. This role reports to the Head of Production and is based in Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities:
· Lead day-to-day operations for CVS Health’s Hartford-based in-house production studio
· Manage and develop a cross-functional team of producers, engineers, studio technicians, and other studio personnel
· Serve as a hands-on producer across studio, live, and live-to-tape productions, stepping directly into execution as needed
· Personally technical direct productions, including operating control room systems and production switchers when required
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients, executives, and external partners across all phases of production
· Troubleshoot production and workflow issues in real time and help drive efficient, high-quality delivery
· Partner with the Head of Production and other Studio Managers to deliver high-impact content through fiscally responsible production solutions
· Continuously identify opportunities to improve studio workflows, production capabilities, and technical readiness
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of hands-on experience producing, directing, and technical directing in a studio production environment, ideally within a corporate or in-house setting
· Direct experience technical directing with NewTek TriCaster, Ross Carbonite, HyperMax, or comparable production switchers
· 5+ years of experience leading multi-functional production teams, studios, and equipment operations
· Demonstrated success across studio, ENG, live, multi-cam, and virtual production formats
· Hands-on experience across the full production lifecycle, from pre-production through post-production
· Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, with deep expertise in post-production, layered editing, and managing complex edit workflows from rough cut through final delivery
· Strong judgment, composure, and communication skills in live and executive-facing environments
· Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
