Join our Omnicare, closed-door pharmacy as a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Front End department and help us deliver best customer support to our long-term care, assisted living and chronic care customers.
Day in the Life:
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will work to lead and support the front-end pharmacy technician team and assist when the pharmacy is busy with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks. Our front-end team is focused on entering in orders, working alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy, and providing best in customer service. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas including: data entry, customer service, and automation
- Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify a solution
- Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
- Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

Required QualificationsWhat You Bring:- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
Preferred QualificationsAdditional Skills/Experience, but not Required:- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
Education- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $35.29
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
