Team is seeking a highly motivated Contract Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects across cell therapy manufacturing operations. This role is focused on driving key initiatives related to technology transfers, process validation, raw material qualification, new product launches, and technical operations excellence. The Contract Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams within MSAT, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, IT, and external partners to enable timely and quality execution of site and global projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead planning and execution of assigned technical operations/MSAT projects (e.g., tech transfer, process validation, new facility readiness).
- Develop detailed project schedules, Gantt charts, and integrated timelines to support project tracking and scenario planning.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings; document meeting minutes, action items, and key decisions.
- Track, manage, and communicate project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies; maintain and update risk registers.
- Support change management activities and ensure alignment with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations to stakeholders, project sponsors, and leadership.
- Coordinate operational handoffs and project closure activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Identify and engage stakeholders, drive alignment on project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with matrixed teams (quality, supply chain, IT, MSAT, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist with resource planning and allocation in OnePlan, including supporting budget management and capital request processes.
- Tools & Process Improvement
- Apply and promote best practices in project management, leveraging PMO methodologies and tools (OnePlan, MS Project, Smartsheet, Tableau, SharePoint).
- Champion excellence in documentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous process improvement within technical operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor?s degree in engineering, life sciences, or related discipline. Master?s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management in biotech, pharmaceutical, or cell therapy manufacturing environment; MSAT experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects in regulated (FDA/cGMP) environments.
- Proficient in project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Tableau, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter, able to drive projects independently and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in business process improvement and change management is a plus.
