The Sentinel Product Line (PL) is an organization within the Medium Range Air Defense Product Line (MRAD PL) within Raytheon containing multiple programs within its portfolio including Sentinel, NASAMS, and HAWK. The MRAD PL is a complex program area executing work across the Raytheon business, through a key partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace and Raytheon Australia. With NASAMS in 12 different countries and Sentinel in 16 countries, the current 5-year strategy is to further expand the global footprint.
The Sentinel PL is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of Sentinel CAM (Control Account Manager) for this Sentinel A3/F1 Product Line. The Sentinel CAM will support various Sentinel programs execution (cost, schedule & technical performance of critical production, development and sustainment programs), growth opportunities, positive financial performance while ensuring that all contractual commitments are met/exceeded.
This role is primarily responsible for managing financial metrics on active contracts as well as supporting active proposal efforts, in an effort to support business growth and a collaborative partnership between multiple production sites.
This position requires strategic and tactical direction for program execution via multi-functional, geographically dispersed teams and sub-contractors with cross-business teams and suppliers.
This position will require ~20% domestic/international travel.
This position is an onsite role, located in Fullerton, CA
What You Will Do:
As Sentinel CAM, you will be assigned to multiple programs and will be responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sentinel products and services over their life cycle. As the Sentinel CAM, the successful candidate will lead in the successful completion of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), facilitate EAC and LRE inputs, define root causes & implementing corrective actions to ensure program success and demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results. Scope of work includes partnering with engineering, SCM/OPS and program leads for EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs. The role focuses on driving cost control and schedule using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools. The candidate will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to drive predictable cost and schedule.
You will be responsible for the following:

Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis. Support development of cost estimates, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment at Program / Product / Mission Area level.Support Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis. Support with development of cost estimates, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment at the Program / Product / Mission area level.

Perform detailed Earned Value (EV) and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions. Partner with IOT performers to proactively manage and retroactively understand performance achievements/shortfalls in support of variance analysis.

Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts

Providing Sentinel inputs to proposals, supporting customer proposal negotiations, executing program start-up to include program Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule and performance baseline development. Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience

Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar system

Experience with MS Office tools

Existing Secret Security Clearance (DoD) or ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

EVMS certified with applied experience as an EVMS practitioner, IPT Lead, EV Manager, and/or CAM on a program
-
Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals, developing proposal review and start-up packages for management review and approval
-
Ability to travel domestically/internationally (~20%)
Qualifications We Prefer:

Advanced degree preferred (Business, mathematics, engineering, Supply Chain or related field)

Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.

Experience with IPDS, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Risk & Opportunity Management

Ability to lead, along with peers, the development of long range plans to capitalize on future opportunities

Ability to manage various tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines

Strong communication skills and prior experience presenting to customers and senior leadership

Export/Import (EX/IM) experience or related experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels, including a matrixed environment

Financial and/or Supply Chain background preferred

Experience summarizing and presenting data to senior leadership in a clear, concise and compelling format

PMX Level 6 certified or ability to obtain Level 6 certification within the first year

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
