What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end management of insurance claims, including general liability, workers’ compensation, and auto claims
- Partner with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and third-party administrators to ensure timely and effective claim resolution
- Evaluate claim trends and create visibility of claims exposure to improve outcomes
- Develop and maintain claims handling standards, procedures, and performance metrics
- Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to leaders and frontline teams on claims-related matters
- Oversee litigation strategy and settlement recommendations to manage costs
- Prepare clear reporting and insights for leadership to support informed decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across claims management processes
What Are We Looking For
- 5 years minimum of carrier/TPA claims adjusting experience in workers’ compensation
- Cross jurisdictional experience and adjuster licensing
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex claims across multiple lines of coverage
- Strong knowledge of claims administration, risk management, and litigation processes
- Proven capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify claims trends
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to influence and advise leaders
- Sound judgment and decision-making focused on fairness, compliance, and cost control
- High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with regular collaboration across teams and locations. The position includes close collaboration with management team, field operations, HR, Safety & Health, legal partners, and external vendors.
