The Receiver, Exciter & Back-End Processing Department (REBP) department is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission ready capabilities to our warfighters. We research, develop, design, and integrate electrical (Analog, Power, RF/Microwave, and Digital) components, embedded and digital signal processing software, equipment, systems, sub-systems, and networks for the defense of domestic and foreign purposes.
As member of our team you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of systems and equipment from receivers, exciters and processing electronics and communications systems that support multiple Radar programs. Some of the programs our department supports include Global Patriot (https://www.rtx.com/raytheon/what-we-do/integrated-air-and-missile-defense/global-patriot-solutions) and Early Warning Systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical design and development, an eagerness to learn, the ability to work 100% onsite and collaboratively with a team, and an interest in complex, real-time, critical systems.
This position is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
-
Develop performant C++ implementations of signal processing algorithms or other time critical control functions for heterogenous hardware platforms running Linux.

Develop Python or Matlab code to support building, deploying, and testing.

Maintain legacy sensor software systems

Work with systems and hardware engineers to understand end-user requirements and apply implementation on new and established processing platforms.

Develop robust, scalable, performance driven software to be deployed on large scale computing systems

Improve code quality by supporting software integration, verification and performing code reviews
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), such as Computer Engineering or Computer Science, obtained prior to start
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience developing in C++, particularly in the Linux environment

Experience in Matlab

Exposure to basic software engineering principles

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
